On February 23rd Latino students interested in STEM studies and their parents will travel to WSU to attend a day-long Latino Student Parent Conference. There is still room to register for this great opportunity.

The conference is sponsored by the Society of Latino Engineers and Scientists for the purpose of providing Latino parents and their families with higher education awareness and guidance in the college system.  The conference includes hands-on workshops, tours of Science, Engineering, Technology and Math degree programs, and a tour of Schweitzer Engineering Lab. All meals and transportation will be provided.  The conference is especially helpful for Spanish speaking families as the conference will be held primarily in Spanish.

Contact Claircy Clizer at 509-526-2007 or for more information and registration details.
